I began working on this project just over a year ago, during the early stages of the pandemic when the world was grappling with uncertainty and darkness. Drawing inspiration from Persian classical music, I incorporated the soulful sounds of Setar, Persian Ney, and Santoor to create the foundation for "Souls of Sorrow". By layering in some driving drums and an infectious baseline, the track gradually took shape.
Initially, a sense of obscurity pervaded, leaving no room for any semblance of direction or purpose. However, through a gradual process of introspection and inner exploration, a transformative realization emerged - the necessity of embarking on a new chapter, characterized by a profound spiritual awakening.
